And a note on the environment! Because of climate change, the ecosystem around Los Angeles has turned into something between a temperate rainforest and a tropical rainforest. Coast redwood trees that had been planted in Southern California for decorative purposes in the 20th and 21st centuries now grow all over the place, and other tropical or sub-tropical plants introduced to the region now thrive (even in spite of all the radioactivity in the region). Animals that live in this ecosystem include animals that were originally native to the LA area mixed in with populations of foreign animals that escaped from zoos during WWIII and its fallout. Radioactivity effects the animals sometimes (like that mutant squirrel there >___>), but most of those effected don't live long as they are picked off by predators. For the most part, the animals have adapted to the radiation levels in some respect.
